One of the most important things to me personally, has always been to help people be the best version of themselves and follow their dreams. I love nothing more than seeing people realise how incredible they are. But that means they need to be uber confident, totally gritty and resilient and not slave to their inner critic. It of course also means they need to have a steadfast focus, a solid plan and incredibly positive lifestyle habits.
This is why we founded Zenergos, we wanted everyone to be able to have the knowledge and the platform to create this core strength and build the energy, resilience, confidence and mental focus to fulfil their ambitions and ultimately to be happy through their lives.
Today however, with this devastating pandemic, our world and how we operate in that world, has been thrown upside down. Quite naturally we feel anxiety and fear and this has an enormous impact on our ability to think clearly, focus and achieve any goals we have.
We like to cling to our old familiar habits, we build our life around them, but none of this is familiar, as we haven’t done it before, so the old habits we used to have, simply aren’t working for us today.
Many of my clients, who are still working but from home, spend most of their time on webchat after webchat, often for 10 hours a day. I guess this isn’t so bad if you are lucky enough to have an office and an outside space, but many don’t have that luxury. What it is though, is unsustainable, unproductive and will impact our mental and emotional wellbeing over time.
So as we enter week three, here in the UK, of our stay at home, now is the point to start analysing how we are spending our time at home and build our days around our wellbeing. Never has this been more important than now.
